Relics of culture and yesterday that make people look at them and say “what the fukk?” go here.
Many times during the past year or two, I have read the words “rape culture” online. I have understood this phrase to mean tolerance, condoning, or even encouragement of the act of rape. If I am mistaken, then please feel free to correct me in the comments. In a matter of months, the first X-Men film to feature Bryan Singer at the helm since 2003 will be released. This has brought forth a deluge of X-Men related posts on Fudgebook and other such publicity. But just like there is a How To Read Donald Duck in which analysis of Disney’s material is taken to extremes, I think it is worth taking a look at X-Men for similar reasons. Continue Reading
I will admit to this up front. When I find songs that I like and have certain qualities, I listen to them repeatedly. As in I will play them back and forth over and over until I get to a point where most people would start screaming for it to stop. One individual made a joke tape that was, and was titled, literally Ninety Minutes Of Non-Stop Laughter. As in for ninety minutes, the tape was a collection of sampled laughter.
