I think it would be fair to say that autistic adults hate curebies and the dishonest things they parade about as scientists. In fact, I would say that is an understatement on a similar level to how many individuals in the Germany of the 1930s hated the Gestapo. But what I want to talk about today is how your choice of person to trumpet the cause of can and will taint you forever.

Goals. What ones should the autism civil rights movement have?

I think if one looks at the situation quite literally, the autistic civil rights movement as it presently exists and occurs has a bit of a problem. In contrast to the enemy, which is very well-organised and well-directed, the autism civil rights movement is basically a lot of different groups of people meandering about without a clearly defined purpose or even a sense of a decision-making process.

Disability is a competition to some… why?

Often, when an autistic adult calls curebies or separationists out on their bullshit, they will often make a comparison of how they perceive you to someone closer to them. They try to make their audience believe that their perception of you as doing “better” than their pariah example is a reason that your view should be discounted.

Please allow me to clarify (about Lance Henriksen, and other celebrities).

A couple of posts ago, I wrote something with the title “Lance Henriksen has done more to represent the autistic than Suzanne Wright ever will”. This resulted in some confusion in conversations I had elsewhere concerning what I write here.
