The verdict (no, not that one).

Before we begin, let me tell you something. I am not going to pretty up what I have to say with political correctness or blanks. This is because I want to properly express my impression of the mindset behind the violent criminal act I am speculating about. If this bothers you, go elsewhere, please.

Publicised trials are a funny thing. In spits and spats, the public are doused in grim, puzzling, or even stupid details from the trial’s progress. And after months or even years, a verdict is handed down that is pored over for years afterwards, with people speculating on what led to the result.

My emotions, continued

I am absolutely exhausted lately. I have precious little hope or prospects, but my willingness to be generous and sharing has in itself become a major, major fault. Is what normies refer to as love a willingness to put oneself in an awkward position for the minimal benefit of others? I honestly do not know, but I am altogether tired of being in an awkward position. I look upon my life and think that I want to go home and rethink it. Then I realise something that Billy Bob Thornton said so well in Bad Santa. It is too late to start over.

I predict that I shall explode soon.

In a previous writing, I stated in more sarcastic terms that my present situation reminds me of prior occasions when I have acted out violently towards other people. The situation is best described by quoting a line spoken by Jack Nicholson during the 2003 film titled Anger Management.

One’s body and choice: information wants to be syndicated.

This morning, after I woke up from a prematurely-started sleep and realised that I was going to have yet another major disruption in sleep pattern, I did my usual computer routine. I hopped onto World Of Warcraft for the nth time, did some tasks oriented around my characters’ skills, and then looked at the news that Fudgebook had to offer. One place that I used to be subscribed to but left because of the whole unwillingness that much of the autistic community has to accept that not everyone shits smiles posted an image that I thought was working talking about. You will see it after the jump.

Real outsider to “geek culture”: up yours. Again.

It has been a while since I have written specifically about the “everything has to be online and not paid for even when the people who have made something unique and masterful are starving” culture. You already know my general mood about it: I hate it. But just recently, I became aware of a graphic that is doing the rounds on what I like to refer to as Fudgebook.

Sigh’s new album

Earlier this year, the Japanese black metal band Sigh released a new album with the title In Somniphobia. And for those of you out there who read this and feel tempted to send me messages about how Sigh are an “avant garde” band or whatever, do not. Just… do not. To borrow and mangle a quote from Jello Biafra that needs to be more widely circulated, this rigid and conservative definition of black metal that you have sure as hell is not what got me into black metal in the first place.
