Computers are terrible things, and I speak as someone who has enjoyed making use of them for thirty years now. The problem, essentially, is not the machines themselves. Before we begin, I should clear something up. Like a lot of autistic lads around my age, I had an interest in some things until I dug deep enough or saw them change enough to recoil in horror. In fact, as of June 2012, psychological professionals are still dealing with a phenomenon they refer to as Technology-Related Anger. Continue Reading
I often do things that do not make sense in light of my present circumstances. And going to see Prometheus for a second time, from a financial perspective, is one of them. But see it again I did, and I thought that I would share my reflections with you. Because the film has been out for several weeks now, and everyone I know whom I wanted to preserve surprises for has seen it, I will be divulging things that can be considered critical to the plot. Consider yourself warned. Continue Reading
